Pedestrian Hit and Killed By Same Vehicle That Hit School Bus

October 26, 2010-According to reports the same vehicle that struck a school bus causing it to overturn, also struck and killed a pedestrian.

According to California Highway Patrol spokesman Miguel Luevano beside the pedestrian that was struck and killed, 18 students were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. The bus driver was hospitalized with serious injuries.

Three boys that are suspected of being in the car that struck and killed the pedestrian and broadsided the school bus could be charged according to the authorities.

Luevanao stated the driver that tried to flee and was stopped by witnesses until police arrived could be charged with felony hit-and-run and manslaughter charges. The other boys that tried to flee from the scene of the accident could face conspiracy charges.

Luevano said they were hospitalized with injuries sustained in the crash.
